What kinds of projects do you take on?
Three broad shapes of work: AI strategy and automation, AI-powered product development, and custom software built from the ground up. In practice that ranges from a focused assessment — where should AI actually help this business — through to designing, engineering, and shipping a production system your team runs for years.
If your problem doesn’t map neatly onto one of those, it’s still worth a conversation. Most of the work we’re proudest of started as something the client couldn’t quite categorize.

Yes, and we’d rather do that than sell you something that doesn’t earn its keep.
We start with a discovery engagement: we learn your business, your users, and where the friction actually sits. Sometimes the answer is an AI system. Sometimes it’s better data plumbing, a workflow change, or software with no model in it at all. You get a clear roadmap and an honest read either way — including when the honest read is “not yet.”
How long does a project take, and how involved do we need to be?
Discovery typically runs 2–3 weeks. Design and build depends on scope, but most first releases land in 2–3 months, and we ship in increments rather than disappearing for a quarter and returning with a reveal.
We work with you, not adjacent to you. Expect regular check-ins, working software you can click through early, and decisions made together — that’s what “without the handoffs” means. You’ll never receive a strategy deck from one team and a codebase from another that don’t quite fit.
How do you handle our data, security, and compliance?
Carefully, and with the specifics written down before any work starts.
We scope data access to what a system genuinely needs, keep sensitive data inside boundaries you control, and document what’s stored, where, and for how long. For AI systems specifically, that includes being explicit about which models are used, whether anything is sent to third-party providers, and what’s excluded from training or retention.
If you operate under HIPAA / SOC 2 / GDPR, tell us early and we’ll build to it rather than retrofit.
What happens after launch and who owns what you build?
You own it. Code, models, documentation, and infrastructure config transfer to you, and we don’t hold your system hostage through proprietary tooling you can’t run without us.
After launch we measure how it’s actually performing, tune what needs tuning, and stay available for the next phase. Some clients keep us on a defined support arrangement; others take it fully in-house with a handover. Both are fine — the goal is a system your team can own, not a dependency on ours.
